Issue 1 takes us to Belfast. Words by Stevie G.

McHughs
The oldest pub in Belfast or so it claims (albeit with an overhaul inside)
A 5-10 minute walk to the Odyssey, depending on how many pints you've had - just watch crossing the road !

They know hockey has arrived - Tambo has already read the riot act to one of the managers on Challenge Cup Final Day !!!

Not a pub for those real-ale drinking purists from Nottingham, but we've called it home this season because of it's closeness to the arena. (I think Kendra called it a fizzy lager establishment in her Belfast tour review) Theres GOOD Guinness on tap and let's face it - anythings better than what you have to suffer in England at least.

There's food available upstairs if you're peckish as well.

It's a nice looking place with some character. Definitely a good place to meet some GIANTS before a game and get directions or a friendly guide to the arena if you're not sure how to get there.

After matches, it gets a little crowded particularly on Friday and Saturday nights - generally we find somewhere else to go - just make sure you've checked with us before leaving the arena!

Rating
4 pints (losing one pint because of the weekend crowds)
